As business accelerates across North America, we are expanding our presence to offer our technical support in a new time zone (Pacific Standard Time) and in both Spanish and French. Ficep Corporation is pleased to announce the expansion of its regional service offices with the opening of Tech Support Offices in Montreal and Southern California.
We are very fortunate to have been able to transfer Dario Rugin from our head office in Gazzada, Italy who will now be based in the new Tech Support Offices in Montreal, Canada.
While working for Ficep in Italy during the past 10 years Dario was involved with travel around the world to support Ficep users in all corners of the world. More recently Dario served as a product specialist for the Ficep Gemini plate processors. In this role Dario was assisting engineering with special applications and customer projects for the Gemini product line. Dario has acquired a diverse understanding of all the Ficep products from an electrical and software side and will be assisting customers with challenges by using the comprehensive FICEP Teleservice software for remote assistance and problem diagnosis.
The second regional office was opened in June 2014 with the transfer of Olivier Charrier and his wife Marisa from our main customer support office located in Forest Hill, Maryland to the new Tech Support Office in Southern California. Olivier will be able to assist our West Coast customers in their local time zone from this office. Olivier is fluent in Spanish, French and obviously English, which is a great asset for many of our customers. Prior to joining FICEP Corporation Olivier was employed by FICEP France in a similar capacity for 4 years. Before joining FICEP France, Olivier worked for our structural steel software division, Steel Projects, for a period of 3 years so he also has a strong software background. Prior to joining FICEP Corporation over one year ago Olivier worked for a steel fabricator here in the States, so he not only has an exceptional technical background, but he fully understands the applications and challenges that face our customers on a daily basis.
